Katie Stubblefield has been on a journey that most of us could never imagine.

When Katie was just 18-years-of-age she tried to take her own life after her boyfriend dumped her in high school. As a result of a gunshot wound, Katie’s face was so badly damaged that doctors feared she wouldn’t live.

Two years later, Katie Stubblefield is the youngest person in history to have received a full face transplant at Cleveland Clinic in Ohio.
